Cooperative Farming

According to Article 3 of Republic Act 9520 (RA 9520), a cooperative is an autonomous and duly registered association of persons, with a common bond of interest, who have voluntarily joined together to achieve their social, economic, and cultural needs and aspirations by making equitable contributions to the capital required, patronizing their products and services and accepting a fair share of the risks and benefits of the undertaking in accordance with universally accepted cooperative principles.

  • Common Share Capital Contribution is 8,000
  • Membership Fee is 1,000 
  • Must have at least purchased 100 pcs seedlings
  • All purchases in Cooperative are tax free.
  • Training and Seminars support and assistance from the Cooperative is FREE for members.
    1. Agarwood Leaf ‘Bari’ Tea Processing Seminar
    2. Inoculation (Bio and Non-Bio) Training
    3. Agarwood Oil Extraction Training
  • Private Tree Plantation Registration (PTPR) is under the cooperative by providing below documents.
    1. Coop Member to provide Notarized Contract Growing Agreement
    2. Authenticated copy of ownership to the Land Original Land Title, Transfer Certificate of Title (TCT), Certificate of Land Ownership Award (CLOA) or Tax Declaration of Untitled Alienable and Disposable (A&D) Lands.
    3. All expenses incurred on Inoculation up to export of processed products are chargeable to grower members.

Cooperatives are investing on the needed facilities for the processing of Agarwood Products like Bari Tea and extraction of essential oil. Joining the Coop will give you a chance to avail of the Common Service Facility sponsored by the Regional DOST Offices or additional equipment from the Regional/Provincial DTI Offices program, Shared Service Facility.
